Every year there are at least 1 or 2 or 3 during winter conditioning / spring ball. Anyone have any insight or speculation? My hunch is that Omari Palmer is moved from OL to DL and gets into the rotation with Crume and Sloan. I'd prefer to keep Johnson and Robinson as DE's. Though he was on the two deep and got some run at OG last season, he's stuck behind Robinson and Trudo for possibly 2 more years giving him only his RS Sr year to possibly start. Both OT's are coming back with Lasker and Knapp the apparent next men up. I don't think Palmer has the lateral quickness to play OT anyway in a Lou Alexander kind of way. Also, Palmer was all Long Island on Defense, not on Offense, granted against mainly weak competition, but he does have experience playing at a high level (relatively) on that side of the ball. And obviously, we need help up front on D in the trenches. The other o-linemen who could backup Trudo and Robinson are guys like Alex Hayes, Ivan Foy and his guard experience from last season (and then Lasker/Knapp would slide into Foy's spot), and John Miller (assuming Emerich wins the starting C job). Any others you guys think? Or disagree with me? I know we have a logjam at WR and never have enough DB's. Or maybe a WR is converted to LB Dyshawn Davis style? No, Broyld isn't going to D, so let's just cut that off now.
