"He’s a very honest and upfront young man," Shafer said.
Those without patience will tell you that when it comes to football, it gets late early.

The Orange hung tough against Penn State in the opener, although there is room for concern. Syracuse averaged just 1.9 yards per carry for the day, while starting quarterback Drew Allen completed just 13-of-37 passes. That doesn’t bode well for a young team on the road, albeit against a banged-up squad.
