It may take a day, but Cal could have it's chance to get back in it.

I don't recall seeing this mentioned anywhere, so if it was, I apologize. But I saw the Maui Invitational bracket today. (Which based on the URL, has a date of July 15, so it was probably just released) This allows us to see who we are playing and who we could potentially play.

First things first, we open up with an on campus game on Monday, November 18, playing St Francis of Brooklyn at the Carrier Dome. Then, the Maui games start on Monday, November 25.

We start by playing the Minnesota Golden Gophers, and Rick Pitino's son at 5:30pm Eastern. Win that, and Cal could finally get it's chance to get back it in. Assuming the Golden Bears knock off Arkansas in their first game, (or heaven forbid, both Syracuse and Cal lose their first games) Syracuse would face Justin Cobbs at 7pm on Tuesday, November 26. Get your popcorn ready. (Also of note - the late games at Maui have traditionally been called by the McDonough - Bilas - Formely Raftery trio, so we might get to hear McDonough and Bilas again early on) Moving past that, we could face Chaminade, Baylor, Dayton or Gonzaga in the final day.
