With all the talk regarding the strength of the 2014 NBA draft class, I was curious where Syracuse players ranked amongst those prospects. I was surprised to see Jerami Grant listed as the 18th best prospect in the 2014 class. While I'm excited for Jerami's future, it never crossed my mind that he would be ranked anywhere in the top 30 or considered a first round pick such that there was a chance he may leave after next year. However, with Ford listing him as the 18th best prospect it appears we should be prepared for the very real possibility he leaves after this season. While the depth chart looks fine with Tyler Roberson & BJ Johnson waiting in the wings, Grant leaving early would open up a scholarship for the 2014 class which could be used to bring all three of Syracuse's top remaining targets, Kaleb Joseph, Isaiah Whitehead & Goodluck Okonoboh.
By the way, CJ Fair was ranked 51st on Ford's top 100.
