Now that we know Ryan Nassib will not be a member of the Buffalo Bills, the question becomes, where will the Syracuse Orange quarterback end up?
Quite a few folks are saying he could end up as the latest quarterback for the New York Jets. Mel Kiper seems to think the Jets will use their 2nd round pick on him and Scout agrees. I kinda want to see it happen and I kinda don't. I don't want him to lose his career to the trash fire that is the New York Jets but I also kinda like the idea of him playing Doug Marrone's Bills twice a year.
Over at Syracuse.com, they propose a few other options. Nassib is a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan so if they took him with the 35th pick, it might be a dream for him (soon to become a nightmare because Eagles Fans). They also think the Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals could take a flyer on him as well.
I also heard someone on the radio mention that, if he were still available in the third round, the Bills might actually end up taking him as competition/back-up, but, that seems far-fetched.
Of course there's also a reasonable chance Nassib doesn't hear his name called in the 2nd round at all. SB Nation's mock doesn't include him and Bills-aside, there's a possibility no one else was actually picturing him any sooner than third round to begin with (and clearly, neither were the Bills).
So where do you think he goes and where would you like to see him end up?
Meanwhile, we're also officially on #SHAMARKOWATCH. Some people have Shamarko Thomas going as high as the 2nd round, so, eyes wide open everyone.
