This kinda got lost in thr shuffle with all the basketball madness going on but four Syracuse Orange lacrosse players were involved in a car accident early Sunday near Thornden Park.
Scott Loy, 21, a junior midfielder for the Syracuse men's lacrosse team, complained of neck pain and Alyssa Costantino, 21, a junior goalkeeper for the Syracuse women's lacrosse team, complained of facial pain.
Amy Brunner-Cross, 20, a junior midfielder on the women's lacrosse team, and Bridget Daley, 21, a senior midfielder on the women's lacrosse team, were not injured, Bulinski said. Brunner-Cross was driving.
The foursome crashed with an SUV that was driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
Hopefully everyone comes out of it okay and thankfully there were no major injuries.
Loy is a starter for the men's squad and has collected ten goals and one assist on the season. Daley and Brunner-Cross are starters for the women's team and both have seven goals on the year. Constantino has played in seven games and started four in the net.
Speedy recovery to all...
