We all know that our beloved Syracuse Orange are taking on the Pitt Panthers at around 2:30. The under card, a tilt between the Cincinnati Bearcates and Hoyas of Georgetown, determines who the Orange will play after that dispatch the Panthers (knock on wood).

I'm a bit torn on who I'm rooting for in the Cincy/G'Town game. On the one hand, I'd like the chance for Syracuse to avenge their embarrassing loss five days ago. So, rooting for Ciny to lose would be the way to go. On the other, given the drubbing the Orange took and (I can't believe I'm saying this) how well the Hoyas are playing, perhaps avoiding them is the best path to the Big East Tourney title. The title doesn't mean much outside of seeding in the NCAA, but it would be a good bit of nostalgia if the Orange could "close" the Big East as we know it.
