Last week I was given an opportunity to purchase season tickets next year thanks to a small sum of money I amassed doing many official things that I'm sure you all care about. Anyway, with the recent success of our orange and blue I thought that tickets would a good way to spend my cash. But Saturday as I was pondering just where I would like my seats to be (using the new dome view, very cool) I found myself receiving several messages from friends stating, "go on twitter" and so I did. To my surprise the first thing that popped up on my screen was, "Doug Marrone WILL be the head coach of the buffalo bills", I was dumbfounded never did I think after just 4 years Marrone would jump ship and become the head coach of an nfl team, especially after the way we all wanted him fired after the first half of the season. I found this a reason I should maybe reconsider my purchase until a new coach was named. Then shafer was named as our next head coach, at first I was disappointed and thought there were many better candidates waiting for phone calls. However i soon collected my self and thought, hmmm, maybe this will turn out to be okay, I always thought shafer was a great coach and a great person who had passion for his university ( and his kid is a hell of a player for his size). And we still have our exciting OC Nate.
But then came 40 minutes ago, "Nate Hacket will be the Buffalo Bills OC" dafaq Marrone dafaq. Supporting the program my butt. Taking our offensive coordinator and the only the reason our top recruit was excited to play ball here is the exact opposite of support! Not only were we late in the game for head coach but assistants too! This hire may be even more important then our head coach hire. I'm insure wether next year will be worth the money, the team will now be going through a huge transition and our recruiting class is anything but stellar. I do hope things fizzle out by the spring game and ill hopefully be very confident by then and have no remorse after purchasing my tickets.
But alas I leave you all with these questions, 1) who is you're perspective new offensive coordinator, 2) do you expect a large regression from this seasons success?
