For the record: I have made this mistake already about 44 times this week, so this is as much a reminder to myself as it is to all of you. I just figured that now that he's going to be our head coach, we should probably start spelling his name right. It's only fair. Let's all work together here, please and thank you.

Since I still have to fill space, I'll say one of the most underrated things about Shafer's hiring is that most first-time coaches struggle with putting together a staff. In Shafer's case, as long as he can keep a large portion of the staff intact, this will not be a problem. That has to count for something.
