So while reading ESPN's NHL twitter feed regarding the NHL Lockout (IT'S OVER! YES! GO RANGERS!) I saw the Buffalo writer on the feed report that ESPN reported Marrone is indeed going to the Bills.
A quick jump over to the Bills team page on the site led me to a story that indeed confirmed the tweet with confirmation by the network's Adam Schefter. (Ironically, it was a Sporting News story, but whatever.)
So, now that HCDM appears to be on the move to the next level, here's what I'd love to see happen: We all wish him well because the cupboard is nowhere near barren like it was 4 years ago. The next coach, whoever it is, actually has something to work with, and multiple NFL players with recent SU experience to use as recruiting tools.
PLUS, it has to mean something to have the coach from NY's College Team move up to the NFL to the only team that actual plays its games in NY, right?
The bigger question, however, is with Nassib being an admitted Eagles fan, how will he feel playing in Buffalo?
Anyway, good luck to Doug. He did well at SU, and I'm glad he restored the program to at the very least, respectability. Now, the heat is on Gross to replace him with the right guy.

And hockey is back! All in all, I'd call this a bittersweet Sunday morning...
