I don't see how this guy isn't completely full of shit. Story after story was written about how he met this girl in Palo Alto, fell in love, she would travel to Hawaii, meets his dad, his dad talks to her when she's out of the hospital...now Te'o is claiming they only had an online relationship? WTF? This quote from his dad is kind of strange to me. "I remember Manti telling me later she was going to have a bone marrow transplant and, sure enough, that's exactly what happened. Why would you say "sure enough, that's what happened"? Just seems strange to me. And you have to think, since this might be the most insane thing any top draft prospect has done, his stock is plummeting right now.

I know it's not Syracuse related, but I can't be the only one incredibly fascinated, weirded out, stunned, and laughing all at the same time by this. I guess it's the first bizarre non-Syracuse sports story we've seen in two weeks?
