"I’ve said we are going to try to draft a quarterback and we are," said Nix. "We may even get one in free agency, but we are going to draft a young quarterback at some point."

The Orange men's lacrosse team will host Canisius on Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome, SU head coach John Desko announced today. The confirmation of the game date is the final piece of the Orange's 2013 schedule which was released last month.
Eleven of the Syracuse men's lacrosse team's 14 regular-season games will be televised this season, including five appearances on ESPN platforms as part of the network's 2013 college lacrosse coverage. Highlighting the schedule is SU's April 10 home game versus Cornell, which will air live on ESPNU as part of the new "ESPNU Wednesday Men's Lacrosse Game of the Week" package.
The Orange men's soccer team ranked 20th nationally in average home attendance during the 2012 season, according to a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) report distributed earlier this week. Syracuse averaged 1,343 fans per game for its eight home matches last fall, a new SU Soccer Stadium record.
