On last night's Nick and Artie Show (Sirius XM, online stream and DirectTV) out of New York City, Rutgers AD Tim Pernetti was the in-studio guest during hour three. Pernetti waxed poetic about the greatness of the Rutgers football program, their recruitment of New Jersey kids to rejuvenate the program, the football/basketball 'brand,' and the way they've won over the NYC market (he says he sees scarlet 'R' decals on hundreds of cars daily). At one point, host Nick DiPaolo mistakenly mentioned that in 2006 Rutgers reached the #1 ranking in the country (??!!), and Pernetti didn't correct him.

A mere 48 hours before New York's College Team takes on USC and the Rutgers AD is in full spin mode while the Good Doctor is hitting the nightclubs in Manhattan or somethin'.
