Elite 11 Quarterback and all around great person Zach Allen (QB, 6'2", 185) did it all in Temple's (1-0) 41-24 victory over Round Rock. Allen threw for 209 233 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 90 96 yards (including a 54 yard long run) and two touchdowns on ten carries. Austin Wilson (QB, 6'3", 205) wasn't too accurate in East Pennsboro's (1-0) season opening 35-12 win over Waynesboro, but he was effective. Wilson was only 9-28, but he put up 219 yards through the air and threw for three touchdowns. He also ran the ball six times for 45 yards.

Tyler Provo (FB/TE, 6'3", 235) has missed the first two games of American Heritage's season due to an ankle injury. The Stallions dropped their nationally televised season opener to Cocoa 25-7 on August 25th, but rebounded to shutout Atlantic 29-0 last Friday. The defending Class 3A state champs sit at 1-1.

Marqez Hodge (LB, 6'1", 210) and Miami Central have one of the nation's toughest schedules this season, and the season opener against Grayson HS from Loganville, GA proved just that. Grayson routed Miami Central 35-3 in the game.
