So I'm not sure I've ever heard of the games between SU and NU referred to as the Prose Bowl before, but I like it. And I like this game. I think we should look to keep NU on the schedule in the future. For one thing, they are a decent barometer for us being a similar institution (private, medium-sized, decent academics) and having the journalism angle is fun. It also gives us a competitive, but winnable game against a BCS opponent. It could turn into a bit of a fun, pseudo-rivalry.
I won't really go into the game itself as that has been done excellently by so many others at this point, but I do wonder about one thing:
How much of Nassib's deep ball issues are accuracy on his part and how much have to do with inexperience with these receivers? Sales wasn't around all last season, Kobena had a much smaller role last year, Clark is brand new, and none of the TE's had a huge role last year. I'll be curious to see a) what the deep balls to Lemon look like and b) if the deep ball accuracy improves with everyone else as the season goes on.
