We all know that our society has taken a turn for the worse since we allowed women to run marathons, but who would have thought that it was some Syracuse "dame" that broke on through at Boston back in 1967?!? This is a cool story from the Washington Post today. Love the photo of the Syracuse track guy (a hammer-thrower) giving the race director the forearm shiver…..
