The time has come to break out the Jersey. Laray Smith is the perfect recruit to bring it back, from NY #1, blazing speed #2 and #3 we need our historic number back on the field. I sent an email to Dr. Gross this morning, (not that he will probably read it) saying Jim Brown, Floyd Little and Marrone need to take a #44 jersey with them to this kids house and tell him he is the future of SU Football and he could be the next great one to wear this historic number. 44 needs to drive this program into the future, not just sit in the rafters collecting dust.
