Syracuse Football: Jeremiah Kobena Sidelined With The Dreaded Upper Body Injury

At this point I think it's just easier if I say UBI or LBI instead of spelling out Upper Body Injury or Lower Body Injury. I think you know what I mean.

Jeremiah Kobena, who has performed pretty solidly as a No. 3 Syracuse Orange receiver this season, will miss the "next couple of weeks" due to a UBI that required surgery. That surgery has been performed so the healing process on that UBI has begun.

In two games this season, Kobena has five catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to a 19.3 yards per return average on kickoffs.

It's only fair that the as two Syracuse wide receivers return from injury (Sir Alec Lemon, Adrian Flemming), one must leave because of one. I believe that's written on a Dead Sea scroll somewhere.

The Orange are lucky enough to have enough weapons to weather the storm but at some point it would be nice if all their upper bodies and lower bodies were working properly at the same time.
