You can watch a replay of her event here, starts around the 3:00:00 mark. http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/rowing/sf-final-w1x-lm2x-lw2x-m2x-lm4-m4-w8-mds.html
That was pretty much the only bright spot for Canadian rowing this week after they only placed two teams on the podium.
In other action, the field hockey team was shut out by Australia after former SU star Shannon Taylor notched the only goal in a 1-0 upset of Argentina. They're 1-2 in group play. We all know what Melo did.
Heptathlon is just getting underway, where our own 2010 grad Uhunoma Osazuwa is competing for Nigeria. She won two Big East titles during her time at SU and was our first All-American pentathlete after placing sixth at NCAA's. She's in the middle of the pack at 20th after 100 meter hurdles and high jump. Still have the 200 and shot put today, long jump, javelin and 800 tomorrow.
