Dion Waiters, Fab Melo and Kris Joseph all heard their names called on draft night and all seem to have secured a spot on their respective rosters for the time being. But what of Scoop Jardine? The fourth Syracuse Orange player eligible to play as a rookie in the NBA remains without a team.
That, apparently, is ending soon, according to Philly.com:
In another development, Scoop Jardine, who broke a foot three days before the draft, will probably receive an invitation to come to training camp with the Charlotte Bobcats, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Jardine, who played high his high school ball at Neumann-Goretti, averaged 8.9 points and 4.9 assists as a senior with the Wildcats.
Completely unrelated to the news that Michael Jordan's team may be inviting Scoop to camp is the fact that Scoop is currently dating Michael Jordan's daughter.
What?
Stop giving me that look.
I don't know what you're talking about...
