Help vote for Jarret Eaton!

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- It's time for Orange fans to show their support for Syracuse's 2012 Indoor Track and Field NCAA Champion, Jarret Eaton. Fans can vote for Eaton to win the Donald J. Paige Award by clicking here. The annual award is presented by the Niagara Track & Field Hall of Fame. The Donald J. Paige award is presented annually by the Niagara Track & Field Hall of Fame to the outstanding NCAA Division I College Male Athlete of the Year in or from the Niagara Association. Eaton is nominated for the award along with Robert Golabek from the University of Buffalo (Throws) and Erik van Ingen from Binghamton University (Mid-Distance). The finalists for the new annual awards program are invited to the awards banquet which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8th. Voting for the award closes on Aug. 17th. Eaton had a decorated career while he competed at Syracuse from 2008-12. The Abington, Pa. native became the first Syracuse individual track and field NCAA Champion with his first place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. He holds two school records, in the indoor 60-m hurdles (7.49 seconds) and outdoor 110-m hurdles (13.44 seconds). Eaton also claimed the BIG EAST title in the outdoor 100-m hurdles (2010), the indoor 60-m hurdles (2012) and the outdoor 100-m hurdles (2012).
