During the basketball season I mentioned the fact that we've struggled in Alternate uniforms, especially in all Blue.

However with the recent uniform explosion that is Nike-Oregon & now Under Armour-Maryland. I think that teams that aren't sporting the the mutli-uni looks aren't as attractive to recruits. We saw how players reacted to new uniforms at a school like Ohio:

Some schools have even decided to let the fans vote on what color combinations they are going to wear for certain games.

Schools like Oklahoma State now have 4 helmets, 4 jerseys & 4 pants to choose from:

I am a big fan of multiple uni-options. We know how bad the all-orange football unis have looked in the past, but they might not look to bad with blue or white pants to with a blue or white helmet.

A blue matte-finish helmet with a shinny orange S could look pretty sweet.

If we had 4 color choices like OSU I'd have to vote for:

1) Orange

2) White

3) Blue

4) Platinum (Not Gray)

To avoid the gray complaints we should stick with 3 color options & let NIke & Hydro Graphics, Inc. make us a helmet that looks like the skin of an orange.
