As a lifelong Syracuse fan, I've popped into 'Troy Nunes is a Magician' a handful of times...and in the back of my mind I may have briefly wondered to myself "geez, troy nunes is an interesting former Syracuse player" to name a blog/site after. But today's day at work is moving tremendously slow...so I began killing time with Orangemen-related blogs and the such. With more time to think about it, I'm borderline stunned/disgusted that someone would name a blog after this guy. (I'm not trying to sound like I hate him or something, and I'm sure he is a nice enough human being, but really....Troy Nunes?!?) I know he racked up some decent career numbers in his time, but didn't he never really come close to his potential and always combust at a big moment?

So maybe using the Nunes name was the joke...and in that case....it worked because it always kind of makes me laugh. Good work on the blog posts and thanks for providing the avenue for people to come together and talk Orangemen (I still hate "Orange").

But next time you start a blog....I beg you to us any of the following beside Troy Nunes: Donovan, Qudry, Marvin Harrison, Dwight Freeney, Laz Sims, Adrian Autry, Matt Roe, Carmelo's Corner, Hakim, Orinze, Etan, or any of the 200 more appropriate football or basketball alumni? (Sorry, had to get that off my chest.)
