I said this in the "Aw, isn't that cute" comment section for the article on Scoop meeting his biggest fan and got four recs for it. Since I like it when people like the things I say, I want to take it a step further (farther? I always forget).

Can we all please agree that the term "Scoopid" should officially be retired from use for the last few (please let it be four) games that we have left of Antonio's season?

I'll be honest: I've always hated it. I hate when fans say it. I hate when Sean says it (please don't ban me!). I know you all think it is harmless, but Scoop has given us five years of his life, and has always done so with a smile on his face. He seems to be a genuine kid off the streets of Philly who grew up before our very eyes and I for one feel that he should be treated with the utmost respect for his final (four please, seriously) games wearing our beloved Orange(men).

So let's retire it. From game threads (if you go there). From speaking it. From comments section on here. From everything. Please for the love of Boeheim, stop using this word!!!!

Thanks Scoop, for five sometimes wonderful, sometimes maddening but always entertaining years.
