Was "mediocre"? And the ACC "sucks"? Oops.

Great work, Georgetown. At least your seniors can say they won as many tournament games in their careers as the seniors at Lehigh and Norfolk State. Even after all of the missed free throws and gift wrapped calls, they couldn't beat that "mediocre" team at a neutral site. Pathetic.

As for NC State, what a future they have. Their incoming class is ranked pretty damn high. Gottfried has done an outstanding job there already. Throw them in the mix of us, UNC, Duke, Florida State getting some mojo, you have to think this year was an anomaly for Pitt, Maryland could come back to life....that's a tough conference. Not as good as the Big East in its prime, but definitely the best conference in the country.

And don't look now, but we've beaten 3 of the Sweet 16 teams, two of them on the road, with Cincy, USF, and Florida still to play. What an easy schedule....
