If you can't tell, I'm bored today. Watching the Cincy/Texas game. With the game tied with around 2 minutes left, Texas launches, and misses, three early 3pt shots. All three times, Cincy takes their time, gets a good shot and a bucket. There's still 45 second or so left, but the game is over.

This is the difference between a good/great team like Syracuse and an average team like Texas. The Orange might not always take the right shot or make the right play, but rarely to they play out of control or heave desperation 3's when a better play is available. I know I'm beating this to death, but that aspect of Syracuse's game can't be overstated. Half of winning big games is having the confidence that your game plan is enough to get the W. Yes, the Orange need to improve and execute better. But the blueprint is there. The mindset is there. Those are thing things that are hardest to achieve. The execution will come.
