Schadenfruede from Purdue Fans

http://www.hammerandrails.com/2012/3/14/2870191/schadenfruede

"When Verdell Jones went down for IU I immediately felt his pain and longed for him to get up healthy.

When Branden Dawson (hereafter referred to as "That f'n puke") went down for the Fighting Izzos I felt badly for their fanbase (sans 1 idiot who decided to deride Robbie).

But, God help me, when Fab Melo was declared ineligible for the Syracuse Orange tonight I was giddy with happiness.

Remember, this is the team that withheld the seriousness of Arinze Onuaku's injury to improve their seeding at the same time our Boilers were sliding down to a 4 seed after Robbie's ACL (v.1.0). (Notice they waited til after the pairings were announced this year before suspending Melo for a second time this year.)..."

More over at Hammer and Rails, including this completly unexpected comment:

Syracuse plays the most ridiculous non-conference schedule every year. They basically never leave the state of New York for a non-conf game unless it’s an early season tournament, and even then they play in MSG as much as possible. Then they hide behind “the great conference” theory, as Jimmy talks about how great the Big East is (well I guess next year we will hear all about the ACC). Does Syracuse ever play a home and home with anyone?
