With March Madness rapidly approaching, I had an idea for a whole different kind of madness: a college basketball Busted Mug bracket. What I have in mind is a 16 entry bracket pitting the ugliest men's basketball players against each other for the title of Most Busted Mug.

I had originally intended this to be a Big East only tournament, but after going through the team rosters, I couldn't quite get up to 16 sufficiently scary faces. So, I decided to expand this to all of D1 college ball and, for that, I'll need some help. I have the beginnings of a list below, but I need more nominations to fill out the rest of the bracket. If I get enough entries, I'll expand the bracket to 32, but let's concentrate on getting 16 really ugly mothers first and go from there.

The only requirements are that players must be a D1 men's basketball player that was on a roster to begin the 2011-2012 season. So, Khem Birch is in, Britney Griner is out. I hope to have this set up to coincide with the NCAA tourney, so post your nominations ASAP. Thanks.
