Cuse Classics update as I watch some ESPN Classic.

I'm watching the 85 G-Town Cuse game on ESPN Classic and noticed that G-Town mascot and cheerleaders made the road trip. You don't see mascots and cheerleaders making road trips anymore. (PS, Raftery on the call)

Without further ado, here are the upcoming games on TV:

Dome was rocking in the gtown/cuse 1985 game

what happened to the dome since? announcers kept saying they couldn’t even hear themselves talk….

Did all those fans just get old and cranky? those 30 and 40 somethings are now 50 and 60 somethings telling everyone to sit down it seems….guess they forgot when they used to jump and down for every made basket…

You keep chanting one more year, I thought college was four years

Audio has come a long way...

Not old enough to have attended a game in the 80’s and remember it, but I can’t see it actually being any louder then than it it now. Maybe some of our “older” members that have been going for the last 30 years could chime in on it.

IIRC, G’town build up something like a 25 pt lead at half time, SU managed to catch up (maybe even had a brief 1 pt lead), before finally succumbing. I was an RA in Flint that year, and am pretty sure I had to be at the front desk during that game and listened on the radio.
