What Will The Syracuse Football Future Schedules Look Like? (Revised)

Back in October, I tried to take a stab at what the future Syracuse Orange football schedules might look like in the ACC. Now that we know which division we'll be in and which teams will make up seven of our nine annual conference games, we can clean things up a bit.

And so, let's see what happens starting in 2013. Obviously, I have to guess on the other two games but we can take educated guesses and see how it looks.

And just like last time, I'm assuming our non-conference slate stays as-is based on what we know.

No @MAC/BE school games

Now that SU is in a real conference with a real TV contract, SU can buy games from scrub conferences. No more games at Akron, Miami University and Tulane.

Uggghh

That looks prettty difficult. Hopefully Broyld will be lighting the world on fire by 2013.

THIS!

I hate to put so much pressure on one kid, but a mobile QB that can run and create opportunities on a broken play can hide LOTS of flaws and talent deficiencies on a football team.

Imagine if 2013 happens with that home schedule

The DOCTOR is salivating already. Going to be a lot easier to sell tickets going forward now that some real teams will be playing in the dome.

Until

we open up 2 and 4, going against an undefeated FSU squad… Tough, Tough schedule, could turn out really bad for the Orange faithful.

Will we still have blue home jerseys next year?

Since the DOCTOR has been de-blueifying us, how long will we continue to have blue home football jerseys?

Maybe Nike will make Hyper Elite Platinum football jerseys for us? Hope not.

Wouldn't be surprised

I bet they’ll soon start wearing orange jerseys and white pants at home.

Clemson

I believe they wear orange jerseys & white pants at home. When we play in Death Valley, our white jerseys and orange pants may become a destraction for both teams.

@MAC School/Big East School

Does this mean the MAC and the BE are going to merge? (Fuck you UConn)

May Doug Marrone bless you and keep you.

Two games vs Miami, both in Syracuse? Aw, you’re killin’ me Sean. :(

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I would imagine if we need an extra @ game, it’ll be Army. Doug said he wanted to spark that series a few years back, and if we have to hit the road for a lesser team, I have no qualms with it being in West Point rather than Akron.
