However, Syracuse had not worn blue uniforms for well over a decade when it donned the alternate-color jersey for a game at Kentucky on Feb. 28, 1988. On Feb. 24, 2008, Syracuse got the blue uniforms back out for a road game against Notre Dame. Syracuse lost again 94-87.
