Question about going to a game at Johns Hopkins
Posted this over at CollegeCrosse as well, apologies for those who see it twice. I was wondering if anyone had ever attended a game at Homewood field - I've never been, and was thinking about going down for the Syracuse game. Have looked at the ticket order form from the Hopkins athletic site and not sure if I'd want reserved or general admission, and what's the likelihood of the game selling in advance in the event that I don't decide one way or the other until the last minute. Thanks.

Unless hearing a REALLY bad version
Of Ohio State’s fight song followed by Slopkins alumni showing off their elementary school counting skills after every Slopkins goal is your idea of Saturday afternoon entertainment I suggest you stay FAR away.

Which is why Syracuse fans never go to SU games at Georgetown?
Sorry, but I don’t see why a gone would ever encourage a Syracuse fan NOT to go to support Syracuse at an away game.

Never been to a Lax game there
But did attend the NCAA football playoff game this year @ Hopkins. Not sure where reserved vs. GA seats are as this game was all GA but I will say that the stadium really doesnt have a bad seat. Stands go up high and are pretty steep so you seem closer than you are
I live in Baltimore and have been
Its a small stadium and I went last time Cuse played there. Got there late and just got a ticket at the window. People stand up against the fence along the field and ppl find a seat whereever they can. Most of the parking is on the street and that is more of a pain….. don’t get stabbed, its Baltimore. If you get there early enough you should be fine. Thats what I plan on doing.
I went when we played there in 2009. Got a ticket through a friend/the Baltimore area alumni club and as far as I can tell, it was GA. Don’t think GA vs. reserved seats will make a different. As others noted, the stadium is small.
I talked to a different friend who’s attending some post-undergrad pre-med school program there now, and he said they haven’t sold out a lacrosse game at home. Obviously, it’d be safe to order ahead. If Hopkins wasn’t so stuck in a pre-internet world, personally I’d have ordered my tickets already – but I like to plan way ahead and get my tickets as soon as I can, so I realize that’s just me.
Parking is a massive PITA from what I remember.
