It seems like every year we take a local lineman or two. We have Macky MacPherson, Nick Robinson, and now Christian Brothers Academy's Ben Barrett in the fold here at SU.
Ben is currently listed as a guard on Scout and a tackle on ESPN. At 6'4", it seems like tackle is the more natural fit for him. Either way, he is a bit of a project player, so look for him to redshirt this year, and grow in the system.
Rivals says...two stars. Haters gon' hate.
Scout says...two stars and a position rank of 124 at guard.
ESPN says...no stars from them, and a 45 grade.
Who's Crying?: We were his only offer, and he accepted very early on. Penn State and Akron had interest early on.
