If the 2012 Syracuse Orange football season were a movie, this is where the third act would begin. With their backs up against the wall and their margin for error basically at zero, the Orange will not only have to defeat one of the nation's few undefeated squads, but they're going to have to do it front of the entire nation.
The final Syracuse home game of the season against the 9-0 Louisville Cardinals will be televised on ABC and kickoff, naturally, at noon.
Syracuse was already pulling out all the stops to make sure the Dome is filled for the 4-5 Orange and expect to hear a whole lot more about those promotions this week.
First, it's Salute A Soldier promotion. For every ticket purchased between now and Nov. 9, the athletics department will donate a ticket to Fort Drum soldiers and their families as well as other soldiers to attend the game.
Second, if you want to travel with a group, they're offering $15 single tickets.
Third, be there as the Syracuse Football Club presents the Zunic Award to former football student-athlete Tim Byrne, who died in the September 11th attacks.
Fourth, we're playing a 9-0 team. You keep complaining about we never get any good teams in the Dome. Well...
Finally, you know, it's Senior Day. Last chance to see folks like Ryan Nassib, Sir Alec Lemon, Marcus Sales, #SHAMARKO and more.
