In both polls, the Orange move up to No. 6 thanks to losses by Kentucky and NC State.
Thanks to some losses by a few teams ahead of them, the Syracuse Orange moved up a couple spots in the latest polls this week.
In the AP Poll, Syracuse is No. 6 behind Indiana, Louisville, Ohio St., Michigan and Duke. Previous opponent San Diego State remains in at No. 25 and other Big East teams in the mix include No. 21 UConn and No. 22 Cincy.
In the Coaches Poll, it's the same story. In this version, Cincy is No. 20, UConn is No. 23 and San Diego State is No. 25.
The big question is, did Ron Morris continue to keep Syracuse off his AP ballot? And the answer is...NO! Ron finally added the Orange to his ballot, though he has them way down at No. 10. He shares the honor of the lowest ranking of SU with the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Ed Graney.
Three AP voters have the Orange as high as No. 3 in the nation. They include The Washington Examiner's Kevin Dunleavy, The Providence Journal's Kevin McNamara and the Lawrence Journal World's Tom Keegan.
