A bit of good news on the Post-Standard/Syracuse.com front. Mike Waters and Donna Ditota have both retained their roles as the beat writers for Syracuse Orange basketball and business will continue as usual:

Meanwhile, the Whiz Bang kid himself, Bud Poliquin, will also remains on as a sports columnist for the paper.

For all concerned about Bud and his future at the Post Standard and its new direction... he will continue as a sports columnist for the forseeable future.

We'll await word on any other specifics regarding the Syracuse football and lacrosse beats as well as the status of other Post-Standard reporters and columnists.
