When the Syracuse Orange and Rutgers Scarlet Knights square off on October 13, it will be the Big East Game of the Week and you know what that means...NOONER!

The Syracuse football game at Rutgers on Saturday, Oct. 13 will kick off at noon and will be televised on the Big East Network. It is the eighth Orange contest slated for television this year, as of Oct. 1.

The game will be televised on SNY, amongst other stations that carry Big East Network, which isn't actually a network.

It will be the second-straight nooner for Rutgers, who also play UConn at Noon this weekend.

For the Orange it's their second Nooner of the season (Northwestern) and it's not the greatest time of the day for us. Syracuse has lost 19 of the last 21 Nooners it has played (since 2006), including that season-opener against the Wildcats.

Of course, if the Orange don't take care of business this week against the Pittsburgh Panthers, it might not matter all that much anyway.
