Syracuse Orange No. 8 In Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Rankings
EIGHTH??? DO YOU KNOW YOU WE ARE? DO YOU KNOW WHO OUR FATHER IS???
Lacrosse Magazine says the Virginia Cavaliers are the best team in all the land following their National Championship season last year. They're followed by Duke, Johns Jerkskins, Cornell, Denver, North Carolina, Maryland and THEN the Syracuse Orange.
I expect JoJo Marasco to say the word "disrespected" 3,000 times this season in post-game interviews. It's what any good No. 22 would do.
SU also begins a Big East logjam in their rankings with Notre Dame ninth and Villanova tenth.
Cornell's Rob Pannell has been named Preseason Player of the Year.
Peeping the schedule, we see that Syracuse will play seven of their ranked teams this year, including the top four teams in the nation. And that doesn't include the two-game Big East Tournament. Just wait until we join the ACC, our SOS will be the infinity symbol.
Head on over to College Crosse where Hoya Suxa is holding court to discuss in depth.

The last time we were ranked out side of the top 5, Mike Leveille and the other captains put the rankings up in the locker room and lead us to a National Championship.
Bring it on.
(Note: These results are not typical. National Championships not guaranteed. If you experience a lacrosse game that seems to be lasting for more than four hours, please see a doctor. You may be experiencing a game against Maryland.)
