Juco All-American to Syracuse

via espn insider...good get me thinks. Harold Who?

Junior college defensive end Marcus Pierce-Brewster (National City, Calif./City College of San Francisco) has committed to the Orange, Syracuse.com reports.

Oregon State, Ole Miss, Kansas and Indiana also offered him.

Pierce-Brewster, who was a two-star WR coming out of high school in 2009, transformed himself into a 6-foot-4, 235-pound pass-rusher that recorded 62 tackles, 18.5 for loss and eight sacks this past season. He was the Northern California Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a 2011 Community College All-American.

Defensive end is certainly an area of need for the Orange, as they will graduate Mikhail Marinovich and Torrey Ball while junior Chandler Jones is leaving early for the NFL Draft.
