Welcome Home Sign for Fabricio De Melo
Hey everyone,
So like you, I am anxiously awaiting fab melo's return to the hardwood for the orange.
In the case that he returns*, I was thinking that i would make a fun sign welcoming him back to bring with me to the St.Johns game at MSG. Instead of being witty on my own, i decided to do the most logical thing and outsource the wit.
So go at it and gimme some ideas the winner may/or may not make it on to tv on Saturday.
*I know this is preemptive, but I still thought it would be fun. Also I guess we could come up with signs in case he does not dress up for the garden.

I'm fresh out of wit
But I do think that any sign should contain the phrase “That Big Bastard”

BTW
I love this pic of Fab. He’s like a kid out there, just having fun.

Considering his recent tweet about teaching Liam Neeson how to fight wolves...
I think something along the lines of: “Now that the wolves have been dispatched, it’s time to take care of the Red Storm” would be kind of fun (for those who follow Twitter anyway).
Clear eyes, full bologna sandwiches!
Bem-vindo de volta o Grande Bastardo
“Welcome back you big bastard” in Portuguese. Throw a brazilian flag and maybe his number on it
Oh was that babelfish or Google translator?
Need to be careful, lest you tell Fab “I want a shoe with cheese on top.”
(For all I know that was an accurate translation, just throwing out an old OLD! Steve Martin bit)
I have concerns "that big bastarrd" may not be taken well.
a) is he in on that joke?
b) will it not be appropriate for tv?
I was thinking something like “Looks like Melo found his class #MSG”
also mike, if he is on the joke, adding a "welcome back" would be a nice touch. That is the leader right now, though I dont think mine is so bad.Cause John at the bar is a friend of mine.
I would think he'd be aware of something an opposing coach said about him when his best player had been shut down by him....
Maybe not, but I would think he would wear that with a badge of honor. If I were 7ft tall, I’d know it and probably make T-Shirts….But I’m a bit of an obnoxious jerk……
As for it being TV-acceptable, meh….That’s why you do it in Portugese……
If ESPN is doing the coverage, we all know they're morons....
They’d probably think “Bastardo” translated to Mark Schwarz or something…..
The possibility of being on TV
Is all the reason to make it inappropriate.
