Around SBN: Indy 500: 'Greatest Spectacle In Racing' Set For Sunday

"We haven't scratched the surface of our potential. There is still a lot we can improve on. We can sharpen our offense in the half court. Defensively, we can be a lot better. … We can cut back on turnovers."

Kris Joseph, with a scary thought for Syracuse's future opponents.

Here's the thing:

He isn’t wrong and he isn’t exaggerating.

I know that CAN get better on defense

There’s always room for improvement. But I honestly don’t see all that much room for improvement, other than rebounding the ball better. Other than that, it’s about as dominant a defense as you’ll see out of anyone, anywhere.

JB agrees to disagree

He commented on this on espn radio today. Said something along the lines of we’ve scratched the surface, but have a lot more potential.

Kris and Scoop

really impress me with their ability to vocalize and just say the right thing. I really hope if their pro careers don’t work out we see them on screen someday. As long as its not ESPN.

Cuse fan in ACC country.

Yeah

I think that about Kris Jo every time I see the postgame interviews. He speaks very well and seems to have a very clear understanding of the game. I was pretty impressed with Scoop’s writing last year when he was blogging for ESPN, as well.

I hope they each get at least enough NBA career

to make them viable talking heads.

I've always felt the same way.

He has the ability to be a great on-air personality. Hopefully after a successful pro career.
