Can we all give him some love for that closeout on Jones' attempted buzzer beater? Went all out, full leap and arm swing in Jones' face. Definitely forced Jones to fadeaway a bit, which in turn forced Jones to push more with his arms, which made it veer off to the left. I bet Fair is Jimmy B's favorite player - he rebounds, plays great defense, smart, solid shooter from the mid-range. Essentially the polar opposite of Mookie Jones

as a junior/senior has me excited. Think about how good he will be with 2-3 years under his belt.

Seeing CJ Fair sink some of those mid-range jumpers yesterday

made him look a lot like an NBA player. In college, you don’t often see those shots going in with such ease.

I try not to get too excited about what a player will look like next year because I often get disappointed, or raise my expectations up too high. But seriously, this kid is great this season.

I know he’s starting right now, but he really seems like our real 6th Man of the Year.

CJ has NBA swing man written all over him.

The only thing that’s keeping him from really showing it is his role on the team. Yeah, he’s been getting a shit ton of minutes this season, but he’s still the 3rd scoring option in most situations. Once he slides in at starting SF next season, look for 15/10 from him, easy.
