I don't get it.
This whole situation is seriously challenging me to come up with a scenario that makes sense. If he was academically ineligible, wouldn’t he be unable to practice with the team? So what’s the academic issue? And if it isn’t ineligibility, why would it take a long time to resolve?

Article was vague enough
But why, oh why, did I let my eyes wander to the Syracuse.com comments section??? Now I feel like I need a shower.
If it was easy, I'd be doing it...
The classic
I new this already. He’s a dummy, thats why it took him a whole year to catch on to playing college ball. Now he has to figure out college coarses.

Never do that
It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion. You don’t want to look but can’t take your eyes off it. The folks who comment are the worst.
Yeah I don't get it
How is it something other than “he’ll be back Saturday” or “he’s done for the year”?
Ugh.
This is lame. I really don’t understand what is going on here if it’s an academic issue. If this was really about a whole class being affected as some of theorized, we would have heard through the grapevine from another student by now. Sooooo, what is the deal?
Clear eyes, full bologna sandwiches!
I choose to believe
That this is gamesmanship. Do we prepare for Melo? Do we not? I’m the coach of the opposing team and I don’t know!
/wishfulthinking
NCAA Clearinghouse issue perhaps?
Who else takes a year and a day to come to a resolution? With those geniuses at the helm, we might not have an answer till May!
The Theory that seems to fit
Is he had an incomplete/F and filed an appeal. He won his appeal which was Tuesday or whatever, but now has to make up the work/hand in assignments/take test that he missed or whatever.
Just got back from the women's game
and the whole men’s team was there. Except Fab. Let’s hope he was in the library.
