Seats for games at Puke

Friend of mine who is rabid Tar Heel fan, sent me this article about attendance in the student section at Duke: http://dukechronicle.com/article/low-attendance-forces-duke-athletics-sell-student-seats
Place always looks so crazy on TV (especially with the Dickie yelling at us) but I'm thinking when we finally get to the ACC, there's a chance we can takeover Cameron. I've heard many complaints about our student section (mostly during football season) but looks like we are not the only ones and it's not like Duke isn't putting a quality product on the floor.

Notice that they mention lack of good OOC home games due to MSG

This is something Syracuse needs to really think about in football and basketball if they are just going to play all the good OOC football games at Yankee Stadium/ Meadowlands and if they agree to play old Big East foes up in NYC or on neutral arenas once they go to the ACC.

Slightly different

Mainly because I think students aren’t showing up for 2 reasons at Duke 1) the schedule has not been very good at home and 2) kids think they have to be waiting outside for tickets for hours. Who wants to put that kind of commitment in to see a horrible Wake Forest team?The ACC being crappy will also kill that attendance this year. Teams like Cuse, North Carolina, MAryland (on a good year) will always be sold out there.
