Terrel Hunt arrested for wanting to smell good.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse University back-up quarterback Terrel Hunt was arrested after police say he stole an item from a Hollister location at Carousel Center Tuesday evening.
Police stay Hunt stole a $44 bottle of "Breakline Fragrance" from the store, concealing it in a Hollister shopping bag before exiting the store.
He was confronted outside the store and escorted to the security office by Hollister’s loss prevention officer.
Police say he was cooperative and apologetic.
He was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Syracuse City Court for the charge of petit larceny.
Police stressed that Hunt is the only person charged in the incident.

Yeah
what the hell are the odds of that? I looked on their web site…MSRP is exactly $44.00. Who sells things for that exact amount?

No SU player can deny a $44 price

I blame RGLCL and the pressure he puts on the rest of the team to look their best

What's with our backup QBs?
Last year Jonny Miller was involved in an assault, and now this. Plus Ashton Broyld’s whole … incident … last year before he came to SU.
Someone keep an eye on Kinder for the next few months.

Now we understand why they recruit so many QBs...
Oh, look at me! I'm making people happy. I'm the magical man from. Happyland in a gumdrop house on Lollipop Laaane! Oh, by the way, I was being sarcastic.
WTF HCDM?
All this emphasis on character and discipline. Every recruit is a captain. Is it me or does it seem like we have MORE character issues now than ever before? WTF is going on????
I looked the other way when his recruits joined the GRob parade out the door.
I looked the other way when GRobs recruits like MWilliams got into trouble.
I considered Cater a bad egg. Then I considered MIller a bad egg. Now this???
This is very disturbing to me.

Relax ezcuse. It is minor shoplifting by a kid that has had shitty past couple of years family wise.
Kids make mistakes and “lifting” a stupid $44 dollar bottle of smell good is peanuts compared to the other issues that go on at other schools or even SU. All other reports I have ever read about Hunt are that he is a great kid, even considering his tough past couple of years. I am sure this is just a stupid mistake, at least he was apologetic and cooperative and didn’t try to run or hit the mall cop. And even bringing HCDM into it is ridiculous and a knee jerk reaction! How the hell is he suppose to monitor every kid on the team when he is not even allowed to talk to them in the hallway during certain times of the year! If it was something worse or habitual I would be right with ya ezcuse but come on this is a reach. And I like a “clean” program too with great character but this incident is not something to be alarmed about, imo.
I disagree
There is no moral difference between stealing a $44 dollar bottle of cologne from a store and stealing a $4,400 piece of jewelry from a store. Either way, it is a conscious decision to take something that does not belong to you. Being apologetic is expected, especially after you’ve been caught. Being not sorry would be a reflection of even worse character.
Now… minor in possession? That is truly a small mistake to me. 95% of college students and probably 70% of high school students could get charged with that at some point. There is nothing “moral” about the decision to set the drinking age at 21 vs. 18.
Fortunately, he did not do what EJ Carter did. That was truly horrible. <-sarcasm
Finally, my point is not that Hunt should be kicked off the team. Quite the opposite. I think HCDM needs to take things to the next level by fixing the broken character. Not just getting rid of it. But, by all means, stop telling the world that the team is all about character. I am not seeing it on the field or off the field. It’s been too many to disregard as an anomaly.

Really?
You respect my ridiculous and knee-jerk opinion?
In any event, there are moral wrongs and legal wrongs. See Joe Pa’s firing.
Not like Hunt parked on the odd side of the street on an even-numbered day.

I have felt the wrath of God many a time
For not switching my car to the other side of the street by 6. I curse the days where I remember to switch it but the 31st becomes the 1st.
Syracuse opposite side parking rules are idiotic
Rochester does them based on the day of the week rather than the date, which is much better. How often do you know whether the date is even or odd without having to think about it?

if he can't get away with hiding a small bottle of cologne....
how’s he gonna pull off a fake with a football during a game?

How did he even get in Hollister?
being tall combined with that awkward entrance and the stairs, I have to duck to go in there…. so I dont. F them if they dont want to be accommodating to tall people.
May Doug Marrone bless you and keep you.
I wish the head line read
“Poor jobless student from low income family arrested…. " Give this kid some spending money already. At least the value of a work study job he more than likely qualifies for but can not get because of his football commitments.
May Doug Marrone bless you and keep you.
Terrel Hunt arrested for wanting smell terrible.
I fixed it for you.

Hollister has a "loss prevention officer"?
Why didn’t our football team consider hiring one of those?
Just emailed Spencer at EDSBS to give him a Fulmer Cup Update
Looks like were on board for the Fulmer Cup in 2012!
Since the early 1990's I have not been able to get Mike Hopkins' bloody face out of my brain. I don't remember what game it was but I'll never forget that as my first memory of SU basketball. Mike Hopkins, bloody face, bloody nose, all for the love of Syracuse.
EDSBS Fulmer Cup is up! We are on the board!!!!
