Upcoming Cuse Games on ESPN Classic

Here is a list of upcoming Syracuse basketball games on ESPN Classic:

Friday, January 27 - 3 am - (5) Syracuse at (9) West Virginia from 1/16/10 - Cuse won 72-71 - We nearly blew a 10 point lead. Brandon Triche led team with 16. Da'Sean Butler couldn't get a shot off at the buzzer after Kris Joseph missed 2 FTs.

Friday, January 27 - 11 am - West Virginia vs (20) Syracuse from 3/13/09 (Big East Semi) - Cuse won 74-69 in OT - This is the OT game that followed 6 OT. Eric Devendorf led team with 23.

Wednesday, February 1 - 9 am - (7) Syracuse vs (18) St John's from 1/29/90 - Cuse won 70-65 - Billy Owens and Stevie Thompson led team with 22 each.

Some good pickins for trips down memory lane for us Cuse fans, as the upcoming ESPN Classic schedule has 3 Syracuse wins on the docket.

If anyone wants, I could turn this into one of the new weekly posts that have popped up. It's easy enough to create.

Go Cuse! Let's get back on the winning track tonight!

That would be great

I’m going to set the DVR when I get home. Would always love to know when these are on ahead of time, because you rarely just turn on ESPN Classic at that exact right time.

Thanks

Sometimes I forget

that there was a OT game right after the six OT game.

Both those WVU games were great!

The 2010 game pretty much was the crowning game that established that team as being truly elite, and the 2009 game in the Garden was about as gritty a Syracuse win as I can remember, especially given the events of the night/morning before. Thanks for the tip!

They show old, old games on TWCS sometimes, too – I watched the Pitt game from ’88 recently.

It's the most bullshit thing I've seen in thirty years.

Being from NYC, I don't get TWCS.

Every so often SNY will show Big East Classics though.

Go Cuse!
