It was an absolutely crazy/terrible week for the Orange, which only meant one things ... 'cuse tweets were rampant. Good thing TWITS is here to keep you up to date.

Melo Thinks He's Going to Play:

Either the entire Melo situation happened extremely quickly since Melo thought he was traveling that day or his English vocabulary doesn't yet include the words "academic probation." His twitter's pretty much gone dormant since then but hopefully we'll all be seeing some Brazilian swag again very soon.

Mookie says "He'll be back":

The whole Mookie situation is still sketchy but according to his twitter (which is unfortunately protected) "I'll be back next year." The biggest question I have is who will attempt chuck up NBA 3's while we have 20 point leads at the end of the game.

This one comes courtesy of Alum' Donte Greene. Apparently this is his AAU team picture from the 8th grade. I don't know about you but when I was a kid growing up there were these things called team "uniforms" we wore for team pictures not a mishmash of jerseys and fitted hats. This has to be one of the more absurd throwback pictures I've seen in a while however entertaining nonetheless.

Scoop and Kris Want More:

The Scoop & Kris Show came back this week after an extended hiatus. Among the highlights is Kris and Scoop asking for more followers (Kris wants to double his numbers to 30,000 which may be a bit lofty) but you can follow them @krisjo32 and @scoopjardine. Also Scoop not only has a hilarious fake twitter but a official fan club twitter as well (which I assume he is running himself).

I think its wishful thinking on Mookies part

I don’t think he will have a scholarship or NCAA eligibility waiting for him upon his return, so I hope whatever he left for really was worth it.

Since the early 1990's I have not been able to get Mike Hopkins' bloody face out of my brain. I don't remember what game it was but I'll never forget that as my first memory of SU basketball. Mike Hopkins, bloody face, bloody nose, all for the love of Syracuse.
