Since the early 1990's I have not been able to get Mike Hopkins' bloody face out of my brain. I don't remember what game it was but I'll never forget that as my first memory of SU basketball. Mike Hopkins, bloody face, bloody nose, all for the love of Syracuse.
Don't mean to overreact, but this game becomes pretty important for us
A loss knocks us into a tie atop the standings after we were pretty much on autopilot while everyone beat each other up. Plus, losing two in a row could give us all flashbacks of last year’s debacle after losing our first game. Plus we’d have to hear about how when we faced our first true road tests, we lost, completely ignoring that we’ve been told about 6 different games were our “first true road test”
This isn't going to be pretty.
I say this before every big game after we lose a game I feel we should win and we wind up winning the big one.

What an awful weekend. First Syracuse then my 49ers lose. Ill admit i love Syracuse sports and they mean the world to me but the 49ers are my main love. I need Syracuse to come out and dominate tomorrow. Get this week back on the right track. This night sucks.
They want a White-Out?
Going to be just like Syracuse this time of year.
