Melo and Mookie???
Hopefully this is just a rumor but...
Anyone else hear that Melo did not travel with the team due to his grades and Mookie is now off the team?
I certainly hope not since I believe Melo is the key to a deep run in the NCAA's. I am only at 50 words so therefore apologize for the rest of the ramblings. Well... maybe this will work:
I HATE GEORGETOWN I HATE GEORGETOWN I HATE GEORGETOWN
I HATE GEORGETOWN I HATE GEORGETOWN I HATE GEORGETOWN

This is the third "guy kicked off team for grades" rumor of the season
First it was Dion, then it was Southerland, now it’s Fab.
Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician - The Syracuse blog that cares.
If you've got time, buy my book "How To Grow An Orange", visit SeanKeeley.com and follow me on Twitter and Facebook.
There's lots of people spreading the rumor
And every time someone else mentions it, someone else uses it for confirmation.
Fab tweeted yesterday that he was on his way to UND. He has tweeted since in Portugese. I don’t know what it says.
The team has been in South Bend since yesterday. Waters and/or Ditota should be there in addition to the ESPN crew. Melo stands out. If he was ineligible, it would be reported by now.
I know Portugese...
It says “I am gonna block all 10 of those little white Irish Catholic dudes’ shots today”……
Per translator:
“Thank you for receiving us in Syracuse. The interview will air in this Saturday. Congratulations for their achievements. Good luck and success, Fab”
I was thinking....
The same sediments as Mike and Sean. I just wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone with “real” knowledge had any insight.
If he is ineligible for grades, he would still travel right? Maybe he just won’t play tonight?
@ex-Townie: I like the first quote better…
"Without Gerry McNamara, we wouldn't have won 10 fucking games this year. OK? Not 10"
Heard the same thing this mornin
We’ll find out in about 4 hrs if it’s true. But I heard it from an suathletics rep. I’m assuming it’s true. But melo being out today shouldn’t hurt us. Monday it may become an issue. Let’s just hope for Christmas in January. I heard melo suspended for only 2 games.
So you're telling me....
…..that Fab, although not playing, would still put himself through sitting in a cold tub yesterday? As much as he hates it? Although he won’t be playing for a week? I think your “source” needs to put the pipe down and slowly…..back…..away…..
From Twitter:
@Melo_elo51 Fabricio Melo
Cold tube should be illegal. I will never get used to it.
Sorry but confirmed
Melo did not travel with the team for tonight and Monday. Mookie has left for personal reasons.
Not on twitter
Anyone who knows me knows my relationship with the university. I don’t reveal much but it’s always on the money.
Where'd you see that, Mike?
Not in syracuse.com yet….?
