Complacency
Is it just me, or are there others among the fan base who are concerned about today's game? What, you didn't realize there was a game today? Can't blame you - nobody appears to be talking about it. No big deal, it's just Notre Dame at their house, where they have a ridiculous winning percentage and where you can pretty much assume some nonentity guard off the bench is going to drill at least seven or eight threes on us. I'm all worked up about it, and that's without even knowing who the refs are going to be. God forbid it's those two guys whose names I will not mention. I'm hoping for the best here, but feel like I am alone in being concerned about this trap game. How about you?

They are playing terrible this year!
We’ve beat them 6 of our last 7 trips there. Cocky is not usually my style for road games, but I am not worried.

Where did you hear/see that?
From ESPN:
Syracuse hasn’t faced much difficulty there, taking six of the last seven road meetings with Notre Dame. The Orange have outscored the Irish by an average of 14.6 points in winning three straight overall in the series.

Ah, my bad. MSG is not the Joyce Center
I looked quickly and in 2007 they lost to ND twice, but once was in the BET. Dating back to 2002, we are 8-4 against the Irish, 5-1 at the Joyce, 3-3 at the Dome, and 0-1 at MSG.
Pretty impressive considering I read ND is 94-7 at the Joyce since 2006, and we have 5 of those losses.

Should be a blow out
Not many times I’ve actually thought that heading into South Bend. As long as no white kid kills us from three…
and as long as the rumor about Fab is untrue(Which I’m betting it is).

He's ineligible due to academics
and Mookie was kicked off the team.
I had a friend text me about Fab this morn, then checked here, syracuse.com and syracusefan and there’s 2 or three people syracusefan that got word this morn. I’m not drinking the kool aid and believing forum talk, but that’s still a lot of people hearing something from different sources.

My first thought too
Someone just trying to throw a wrench in the joy machine.

most players would have been informed of academic ineligibility already.
They would have been told at the end of last semester and Fab would not have played over winter break. He may be on thin ice academically but then would be given the next semester to improve his GPA.
Cuse fan in ACC country.
What does it really matter if we're complacent?
My level of worry will not affect the outcome of this game one whit. If the team is complacent, we may have problems.
I really f'in hate to say
I told you so. Stoked crowd, Higgins, freakish trey shooting…there it goes. I’d rather be in the stands tomorrow night rooting for a 21-0 squad, dammit. Let’s hope the team gets its head on straight for the Bearcats and their mayhem attack. Also hope MCW is good to go for this one – we’re going to need all the guards we can get.
